Bolognese

Savor the classic comfort of bolognese, an Italian sauce that feels like a warm hug for your taste buds.

Peel the celeriac and carrot, finely chop or grate them. Roughly chop the spring onion and bell pepper. Finely chop the chilli.
Fry celeriac, carrot and chilli in olive oil and garlic oil for about 3 minutes. Add minced meat, and stir until the meat is evenly crumbled. Add spring onions, tomato paste and broth, and fry for about 1 minute. Mix in crushed tomatoes, bell pepper, wine, bay leaf, thyme, oregano, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. Let simmer for about 20 minutes.
Boil tagliatelle according to instructions. Drain the water and add a little olive oil, stir.
Pour in cream and possibly finely chopped fresh basil into the bolognese. Simmer for another 10 minutes.
Serve with grated parmesan on top.
